The Elk River Club community was featured by the Charlotte Observer's Home and Design publication in it's first issue of 2017. This edition focused on the North Carolina High Country, and it's year round, "four season" appeal. The article highlighted the Elk River Club's unique recreational amenities, as well as the area's attraction to outdoor enthusiasts, and those with an active lifestyle. Also featured in this edition were two custom Elk River residences, located in the community's Summit Forest and Summit Park areas.
